So I bought this one today.

are selling the floor boards dematt
I’m using some patches for the Ruby car and then the guy that bought the convertible gets the pieces he needs. If there’s anything left I’ll let you know.

Wow is this car crusty compared to the parts car! Once again the west coast car comes apart as if it were assembled last month and I’m going to go through half a can of Kroil taking apart the Michigan car and will be breaking some fasteners. SO glad I bought the parts car from @SGT FURY :thankyou:

You don't waste any time digging into your project.!! I spent the day cutting all the grass growing under my projects. Glad your making good use of wrecked 67.

How long did I wait for that car???:poke:

There had to be 10 pounds of dry mud in each fender.

Next up is what little rust repair is needed before the replacement stub can go in and I should probably make the firewall look better too.

Got the engine on the stand and in the process found 1 stripped out torque converter bolt, broken right engine mount and the trans mount was also wasted. There were zero threads left in the one stripped out converter nut and it was discolored from rust and grime but the bolt was still there hanging on by what I don’t know...the inspection cover was even in place!:wtf:
I have found a lot of good things about the parts car besides how clean what was left of it was. Good solid exhaust system(single) just needs a muffler and it looks like all new bushings and maybe even new rear leaf sets and the front suspension looks fine too. @SGT FURY

YM23K73253310 was a Mobile Director that was totaled on June 15, 2004 when a joy riding 14 year old kid plowed into it while it was parked with the family suburban.:BangHead:
@SGT FURY knew the car back then and said it was very nice so what a huge bummer. The complete interior was sold off to someone with plans to put it into a convertible which would be neat to see. I guess it’s somewhere in the northwest coast region.
Also neat is that parts of it will live on to help save another Director.:thankyou:

Can't help but wonder what the outcome would've been had that dipshit joyrider had been driving an early 1990's Nissan Sentra (known as the Tsuru south of the border) instead (not saying that he deserved this):

This car? Hell no! Putting it back on the street.
