  • Hello Rexus31, I'm thinking about upgrading my radio and also getting my dash pad restored. Another C body owner told me you know how to remove a dash pad from a '65 Chrysler. Would you be so kind as to tell me how to do that? Thanks!

From underneath, remove the 3/8" nuts that run along the leading edge of the dash, neatest the cowl. I think there are (8). With a helper pulling from the front, push up on the studs from underneath. You may also need to remove the dash bezels to get a good grip on the front of the pad. Good luck!

Unable to find the nuts you mention. Can you explain! 6 years later I have not got the dash pad out. Had many other projects...
Your 65 is spotless! I just bought a 65 2door and may have some questions for you if you have time. Mine is a good driver and will post pictures when I can figure it out, lol. Do you have any suggestions for web sites that I can get quality parts for my 65? Found a few but hard to find and know what is the best.
I'm not sure, I didn't have to replace mine. You might want to check National Moparts.
I have a '66 Newport and need new pins and bushings for the door hinge. Do you know of anybody that has them? Thanks a lot, John
    Thanks!

Just Dashes restored my original dash pad and Instrument Specialties restored my instrument cluster.
Where did you get the dash and instrument cluster for this?
I have a '66 Newport and need dash work and heater core issues.
    WoW great job!
