I would suspect some damaged in the past. These look to be from a 78 This looks like it was bent from impact causing the paint to chipped off. This too looks like a fold in the metal.

I talked to the owner of this car a few months back. He seems like an honest guy. He sent me some additional photos of the car. The car has some rust issues. I wished I would have saved the photos to share them with you but I didn't. I believe he is motivated to sell the car.

Since I would like to have a black one in my collection, I asked the owner for a few more photos. With an engine compartment that looks like this, I can only imagine what the undercarriage looks like. Further, it has no CC, No Power seats, No tilt or tel, no pass side mirror, no power...

If shipping was less to CA I would consider buying. I was quote $1,000. I wish this car was local to me so I could see it in person and decide if I should buy it. Hate to see it parted out.
