    Differential gear change?

3.23's were godd back when the speed limit was 55. Then highway driving and interstate driving are two completely different situations. Around here if you don't drive 80 on the interstate, you will get run over! Go ahead and run your 3.23's at 80 for 4 or 5 hours and see if you change your...

    Differential gear change?

I have 2.76 in several of my cars and will change the others when I get to them. They are the next best thing to having an overdrive. Any highway or interstate trip will make you happy that you changed.

    Rubbing Belts?

The early up to 69 273-318 AC cars used that wider single belt. You have the wrong AC clutch and pulley setup and maybe more.

Members we haven’t heard from in a while.

I talked to him a few times, that has been quite awhile back. Sorry that I don't get on here much lately. I lost my wife a couple months ago and have a lot of stuff to sort through. I only check in every few days. I think I have his phone number, if you want it.

    WANTED 1972 400 Thermoquad Intake 3614046

That 72 400 intake is a nice intake for your swap. The early well type choke and no E.G.R. The intake you have pictured in the 73 intake, still no E.G.R. but has the later ugly choke. The 72 400 TQ chokes are available on Ebay. That is the exact intake I would use on a 383-400 in an A body...

I have a 38 Plymouth project car that's been on the back burner for close to 30 years. Getting ready to dig it out. I too-wanted some extra brighter driving lights, I was going to use them in my fog light housings. I found some 7" 100W, 225,000 candlepower sealed beams, The description is Marine...

Why are parts stores part # for 1970 300 440 upper radiator hose wrong?

Both the 60664-upper and 60659-lower are out of stock on RockAuto right now. They do have 1 of the 60621 that I know will work. Somebody grab it. Now to the subject of the spring in the lower hose. Back in the day, the only reason that spring was in there was for a quick vacuum coolant fill...

Why are parts stores part # for 1970 300 440 upper radiator hose wrong?

Continental took the place of Goodyear. All part numbers stayed the same. The 60664 is the right hose for the at least 69-73 C bodies. In around 72 they added another hose 60621, that will work equally well. It looks different than the 60664 but fits very nicely.

Harmon Classic Brakes - Great service rebuilding my power booster

I had an A body dual diaphragm rebuilt by Harmon a couple years ago. It is absolutely beautiful. I have it packed away so I can't get pictures right now. Mine was quite a bit more than that but mine was gold zinc plated and I had all of my brackets plated also. I will use them again!
