Are Cooper Trendsetters still around ? At least the were American.

In a couple smaller 15"s only. And to the matter of still being made in the US I highly doubt it

I called a local tire shop and they said the Cooper Trendsetter SE and Hankook Kinergy ST H375 are both discontinued! The Nexen N Priz AH5 are still available to order.

nice, you have 2 scorch red 68s. When I first got my car it had 71 wheel covers and wide white Coker Classic bias ply tires. Then I put on the 15 inch Magnums with Cooper Trendsetters.

Those caps and wide whites make that look like like it’s from a Disney cartoon Travis..

The problem with Cooper is they dropped the 225/75R15 white stripe. I know they still have the 235/75R15, but haven't checked other sizes lately. Jeff

RE: Coopers, the tires I inspected today had their MFR country of origin on the sidewall. See above; I think that should clear it up. Also, the tire shop owner (A really great guy, who also has redeemed the image of tire shop mechanics in my view) mentioned a customer who recently had Coopers...

...a bunch of others (which are all discussed on this thread). So I was able to do a side by side comparison of all three: Hankook Kinergy ST, Cooper Trendsetter SE, and Nexen N-Priz AH5. I went with the Nexen as I thought it was the best all around, considering looks, UTQG grade, and tread pattern:

My Cooper Trendsetters are 2 years old and the white sidewalls are brown and won't clean up. Any experience with wsw paint? Looks like several options. I'd rather brush it than spray it on.

I am also having this problem with my Cooper Trendsetters. I am worried the problem is associated with a defect in the tire's construction. . . I think I'll try some Simple Green on them and see what happens.

Four years later, the Trendsetter is still available from Discount Tire. Are we sure it's not been reintroduced since then?

...a few weeks that on Black Friday it changes to buy 2 get 2 free!:wideyed: I am out the door for 4 E-rated Coopers for my 1 ton van for around $450 installed and I couldn’t be happier. Unfortunately they don’t have any Trendsetter whitewalls on the menu for this sale or I would’ve bought them too.

Westley’s Bleach White spray and a stiff tire brush or as a last resort I go old school with a Brillo pad.
