    Engine run stand, which flywheel?

I've got a fresh 440 engine i want to fire up on an engine run stand. It's internally balanced. I've also got an empty 727 case I'm going to use behind it , for something to mount the starter to. The starter is a new early 90s style mini starter (like used on a dakota). Now a flywheel. Do i...

NOT MINE Blue 1973 Fury I Philadelphia Police Car. $25,000, Lanoka Harbor NJ.

He needs to offer it up with a reasonable price, otherwise that thing will sit where it is. Last i looked it was 15k. Move the decimal to the left one place! A Shame!

Which C-bodies would have gotten a 440 HP engine in 1972?

From what i gather the last 6 digits are the sequence number. 2F would indicate a 1972 dodge polara or Plymouth Fury, as F is Newark Delaware plant. If it has an HP stamp and C body pan I'd say it's a police car plant. It should have a windage tray i believe, that'd be another thing to check...

NOT MINE Blue 1973 Fury I Philadelphia Police Car. $25,000, Lanoka Harbor NJ.

Price was recently dropped to $15k. Now if they would just move the comma one place to the left. It WAS 10k not long ago. Philadelphia PD car, likely to patrol 95 with the 440. Not sure why the guy thinks his old police cars are worth so much‍♂️

    My '71 Plymouth

I totally agree with what your saying. My grandfather got the car from my dad(1987 or so), got it running again and had it primered, ugh! Wish he didn't do it! And to think, he was going to paint it "candy apple red" . The hood was destroyed when the engine caught fire in '82(fire dept butchered...

Has anyone used Summit Turbo XL mufflers?

I've purchased a 2 1/2" TTI system without mufflers for my '71 Fury. Originally purchased Flowmaster Super 44s of the correct configuration, had extentions welded on the inlets to make up the shorter length, then had the entire system ceramic coated black. I'm getting older and loud exhausts...

    Gas Tank Vent

I am in the process of restoring the fuel system on my '71 Fury. My car had the problem of when it got hot, it wouldn't restart. Fuel delivery issue, tank not venting. In the process of dealing with the vapor separator tank, i noticed it was very rusty inside. I cut open the back of the...

Daily driver gear ratio 8 3/4 rearend

If you don't mind opening up the transmission, you could go 3.23 sure grip and install a low gearset in the trans, like i did. With a 2.77:1 1st gear, it's like having a 3.6:1 rear ratio on take off. Still have good cruisability with 3.23s. Simple matter of changing out the front planetary and...
