    72 Fury overflow tank?

I've got a 360 motor, all original car. Just under the radiator cap there is a small tube that goes straight down and once warm, coolant hits the ground.... I figure the right thing to do is add an overflow tank? How big? Where? Does the type of cap matter? Is it possible I have a bad cap? Thank...

I wasn't getting pinging.. smell seems to have mostly gone... I don't drive it much and keep it in storage so next time I run her I'll do a thorough sniff test. Trying not to be affected by wishful thinking as I was with that valve... :)

Fumes...yuck...air pump maybe? 72 fury wagon

I have an update... It's been quite a while. The smell did not go away after all... I hardly drove it because of that, though she got a nice fresh paint job. But I do have great news... Most recently, it occured to me to check the timing. Yeow!! It looked to be at least 20 degrees advanced! I...

Exactly what I need. Thank you haven't looked since I posted but hoping for the best with those bolts as this has mostly been a dry California experience... About those suspension parts... Do I need to get a fork tool or what's the best way to get those off?

72 Fury III ENGINE OIL LEAKS ANS TRANS REMOVAL

72 Fury 360 auto Transmission needs a rebuild. I've also had to epoxy the bottom of the oil pan due to pinhole leaks and now the rear main has a bad leak. Also have some seepage at the front. Option A: pull motor and trans and replace engine gaskets and freeze plugs and seals. I will have a...

What bulb? 68 Newport rear side lamp

Gentleman,.... Oops!! Yes, the correct bulb is 1895. Pressed for time and trying to squeeze one more thing out of my weekend, I pulled the bulb in the dark and what ended up in my hand looked like a bulb without the metal base. I know some modern bulbs are that way. When I went back to the car...

1968 Newport Carter 2bbl carb.. I rebuilt and now it idles way too fast HELP

Car was running pretty good but bogging when I stepped on it. I saw the pump was only squirting into the left horn. Gaskets were toast so I did a rebuild. The only snag was when I dis-assembled the StepUp assemby (with the metering rods), there was a piece of seal or gasket stuck on the spring...
