Please ID these wheels if possible - bolt pattern?

Can anyone tell me if these are Mopar 15 x 6 wheels, and if so, would the bolt pattern be 4.5"? Thanks in advance!

    The Road to Carlisle

Yup, had to jack up the engine to re and re my steering box (66 Chrysler), and I herniated a disc in my neck doing so, and cracked the oil dipstick tube wiggling it around to make room. What an AWFUL job. I thought I was going to lose my mind... And today I had to re and re the driver side...

    New Member, New Polara

You are correct - no skirt for Polara or Monaco wagons in 66. None for Fury either, only Chrysler. Something to keep in mind - and I don't know if this applies to Dodge or Plymouth C body wagons, but on my Chrysler wagons the wheel opening profile is something like an inch shorter than non...

Auto Pilot & A/C blowing my fuse... help

No, that's not what I meant... :) The belt set that are listed for your application should be the right length from the autoparts store. It was just that in the old days, the you used to be able to buy what's called a matched pair. The "matched pair" is not what exists any more. So you buy...

Auto Pilot & A/C blowing my fuse... help

Tension is measured by belt deflection - pressing with one's fingers in the middle of the longest span - FSM gives the recommended deflection for each belt driven system, and belts should be retightened after a short period after belts are "seasoned".

Auto Pilot & A/C blowing my fuse... help

The belts are long sadly, and back in the day you used to get a pair of matched belts. They were cut from the same stock piece of belting tube - one after the other. That doesn't exist anymore. Regardless, proper belt tension is key, and if the alternator bolt doesn't have the spacer that...

    Vacuum trunk release

It's either one or the other - unless the can itself is leaking, the diagnosis will be the check valve. Put a vacuum gauge on the one hose (from engine side) and plug the other hose. Run the vacuum up to 15 lbs and watch to see if it falls and how long it takes. The hoses and lock itself...

Auto Pilot & A/C blowing my fuse... help

Hey - glad to hear that you've found the issue. Yup, always disconnect the battery! Been there, done that. Had one blow up on me years ago. Case smacked off my left ear... Did you get the accel function working better on the AP yet?

Auto Pilot & A/C blowing my fuse... help

Yes, you are correct! I apologize for using layman's terms - thanks for the guidance! Yes, amps is what I meant when I said draw. At any given operating voltage, in this case nominally 12V, the amperes drawn by the AC clutch should be the same regardless of the compressor's load, and the...

Auto Pilot & A/C blowing my fuse... help

I'm actually not sure how a rebuilt compressor can pull more electrical draw under load than not. The compressor is strictly mechanical. The clutch is the only electrical device, and - please correct me if i'm wrong here - it's my understanding that the AC clutch is simply an on/off device -...

WANTED 65-68 Power Disc Brake Pedal Assembly And Firewall Support Plate

Know that there is no difference in pedal assemblies between power drums and power discs - the only difference is power brakes to manual brakes. Might help you widen your search. Master cylinder for discs in 66 is a single reservoir with a reservoir capacity extension. Single pot, not...

The green wire in your photo looks to be added in after the fact, as the remaining wires come in and out through the side openings in the fuse box as they're supposed to. The red wire that shares the same post as the green wire noted above is a main power feed wire going to something that draws...
