    Had to Buy This one!

Don't forget about the Jeeps. I bought my '03 Wrangler about 4 years ago and now similar ones are selling for twice the price I paid. If I was a smart man I'd sell all of my toys while the prices are high. I love that truck. A good friend of mine had a white one years ago. He sold it on a whim...

    Had to Buy This one!

Nice truck. In that condition and with those few mile I'd have a hard time changing anything. But if I did I'd probably throw a turbo on the /6.

    Studebaker purchase opportunity

All of this reminded me of "Chickenhawk". An old racer from the '60s if I remember right, that had a twin turbo setup 20 years ago. Sadly, it looks like she was lost about 10 years ago.

    Studebaker purchase opportunity

@C Body Bob If you decide to proceed with this Studebaker or any other, Studebaker International is the go-to source for parts. Studebaker International Otherwise your stuck with "Studebaker guys" who are a dying breed now and rather hard to find, as you've seen. Very interesting cars but like...

    Studebaker purchase opportunity

I think I'd start here first. It seems like there are bearings (maybe bushings) that tend to wear out first. And of course it's under the engine (your arm will look different, the one pictured is for a power steering system)

    Studebaker purchase opportunity

Probably not going to change your mind but the '51 has a filler panel that I think looks better. But there are other small differences.

I know the quarters are bolt-on-off. Is Studebaker the only one that did that?

    We can't ignore the coronavirus.....

That's been my experience as well. Probably a big reason covid does not scare me. Also I don't pay any attention the talking heads. Having the flu was worse for me, covid was just an inconvenient prolonged cold-like experience.

What's the funniest mod you've seen in a while???

I've never understood the mini truck craze, especially when they do extreme "body drops" like that. Looks like a pile of parts to me, kind of like a lot of the rat rods.

    We can't ignore the coronavirus.....

That's where I'm at. I see in the news that some of the bigger companies that I work with/for have required the shot for employees. But since I'm a sub-contractor for these companies they haven't said a word, just added some boiler-plate BS lingo into our contracts. If one of these companies...

Hey you Canadians wanting a Hellcat better hurry

But if you were I think now might be the time to do it. With the current DEF shortage, those older pre-DEF trucks just gained 10% in value.

    We can't ignore the coronavirus.....

Just in case anyone missed it, Facebook/Meta acknowledged in court recently that their "fact checkers" are merely opinion at best. Many of us already knew this, but far too many still haven't figured it out, and seeing how F-book likes to "fact-check" covid stuff (and other important topics), I...

    Redeye Widebody

A good friend of mine killed a Camaro like that. :steering: We got going a little too fast (his fault, he was driving) and got T-boned by a tree.
