What makes a front 3 inch drum not work on the rear?

One has integral hubs (front) and the other does not. That's my guess. @mobileparts - what say you?

    retaining clamps for AC hardline

Agreed! Just use a washer to cover the hole.

    retaining clamps for AC hardline

In my parts book it's described as a Clip, and has a star beside it indicating not serviced.

Remove chrome trim on 73 Polara to remove old cruddy vinyl, refresh roof seams and then do a bedliner re-spray - how to remove chrome?

It's hard to remove those trims unless you've experience, and easy to wreck them. Replacements are very hard to find. If I were you, I'd consider just cutting the vinyl away.

It may do, but I am NOT an expert by any stretch on deciphering build sheets or build cards. Others here may be able to, though.

Not corrected, just more knowledgeable! It could well be that if a collision occurred, perhaps it was something where the correct parts were not available easily, and used parts were employed - I figure they'd likely bolt right in if they were 65 - yoke, rad, shroud, etc.

    '66 Newport 2 Door hardtop

From 66 and up, yes, AC cars got a 26" square top rad with plastic shroud and the appropriate sized rad yoke (bigger opening)... but a 65 rad with AC was a heavy duty 22" round top with a metal shroud. That rad would bolt into a 66 non-AC 22" rad yoke and look correct. I believe there was a...

Interesting - looks like a 22" round top rad in your pics.

Looks great. I suggest that you try to source a shroud for that rad, now that you'll be putting extra cooling load on the system with the addition of the condenser.

Without looking at my parts catalogue, is it not the same as what was on the C pillar of sedans and hardtops?

I am not sure - if the ends connect to both the trans and the servo, and is near enough to the right length, I don't see why not. As far as I know, the lower cables are still available. If you search around.

'68 was the blend over year to the vacuum style. Some old electromechanical units still on the assembly line. While I'm not interested in purchase, I can refurb and make good all the components for this system. Good to see the very hard to find dash bezel is included in this package. Quite a...

Is my eye seeing that the rallye wheels on that Sundance are larger than 15"? Perhaps aftermarket 17"s? They look really good on that car. I love that 71 wagon!

I think so, since the parts book shows it to cover all Chrysler grilles, presumably regardless of placement - Newp, NYr and 300, even though in the Group 8 Ele tical image you posted (with the explosion drawing of the headlight doors), you can clearly see the word Chrysler on the headlight door...

Rip's 1966 Canadian Monaco convertible with 4 speed is a very rare beast, and should be preserved. He bought a bunch of parts from me for it... Edit - it was Locumob that had the 66 Canadian Monaco convertible 4 speed, not Rip. My bad.
