NOT MINE 1966 Plymouth sport fury $6,000

With no oil pressure, I guess it burns pistons and gas!
  2. Turbo301

NOT MINE 1976 Chrysler Newport 19k miles - $12,000 (Austintown)

Man that's gorgeous! The cream is pretty crazy with the dark green, but very "period" and unique.
  3. Turbo301

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler At The Rancho Cordova, CA. Pick-N-Pull Wrecking Yard.

For some reason I expected to see the entire rear end gone, not just the guts...

NOT MINE 1970 Hurst Convertible Tribute in Michigan (born as a 383-4 Newport 'vert)

I mean, I even hate "tributes" when they take base Chevelles and make SS396s, 318 (or Slant-6) Challengers and make them into Hemi R/Ts, etc. Even if the correct car is worth far more than the "tribute", the latter is still just incorrectly restored in my eyes, and worth less than the...

NOT MINE 1970 Hurst Convertible Tribute in Michigan (born as a 383-4 Newport 'vert)

My thoughts exactly: "tribute" just means "restored incorrectly" to me.
  6. Turbo301

    NOT MINE 1981 Imperial Limo.

That is actually a big improvement over the normal look of those Imperials! That's actually a really nice-looking car. The continental "bump" isn't value-added, but is interesting and definitely speaks to the time.
  7. Turbo301

    NOT MINE '69 Polara 2-door.

That's an awesome car, but seems like a pretty penny for a 318.
  8. Turbo301

NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler NYB 2dr parts car (Staten Island NY)

What's with the front bumper guards?
  9. Turbo301

NOT MINE '69 Polara Highway Patrol Car.

Brown with a vinyl top but CHP? Was it done more "civilian" after retirement?
  10. Turbo301

NOT MINE 1969 Polara 500 convertible (B3 now dark blue, $12k ask)

So we know he's lied about at least one thing... Seeing that car from 2018 turned into this abomination is why I keep buying cars and not selling any; I can't bear to think of someone doing something like this to one of my (not popular, not worth anything) cars.

Whitewalls with poverty caps - pics?

:( Oh well, as long as you've kept the original wheels, covers and tires, it's always easy to swap!

Whitewalls with poverty caps - pics?

Looks totally sharp like that. Please, no more mags on nice cars like this!

Making a replica of my '73 Fury Gran Sedan

The grill was black-washed, "bare metal foil" was used on all of the rocker and window trim... And note the custom lisence plates... ...and the back-up light! The underside wasn't ignored, either! So, all in all, it's not my best work (I'm used to modeling at 1:24-1:25 scale), but...

Making a replica of my '73 Fury Gran Sedan

Then some gloss: And then a polish! I used Tamiya tape to create some vinyl roof strips, and for masking to spray the vinyl top: It's looking like my car more and more! Add in the vent windows with some plastic stock, using what I left of the original window frame as the front of the...

Making a replica of my '73 Fury Gran Sedan

Ever since I was a kid, I've wanted a replica of a car that we, as a family, own/owned. I've gotten close - the Matchbox Cougar station wagon, when we had a Cougar XR7; my Corgi S&H Torino when my dad had a '76 base Torino, etc. - but never something in the right colour, or with the right number...

    Tires for 1973 Imperial

They're no dingier than any other brand I've had. Using a proper cleaner, and keeping them clean, will help more than anything.
  17. Turbo301

NOT MINE Probably the best Chrysler from over the water.....

That's gorgeous; very reminiscent of the '71 Charger but not quite so... phallic. The vinyl top style is silly but everyone was trying all kinds of weirdness with vinyl roofs throughout the '70s!
  18. Turbo301

    NOT MINE '68 Mobile Director.

Could be; that'd be a fun option, and easier for people to talk to one another than in a station wagon.
  19. Turbo301

    NOT MINE '68 Mobile Director.

LOL fair, I didn't think that one would need to adjust the passenger side vent window. The air flow through the kick-panel vents is tremendous and what I use for cooling... I just wish Chrysler had not put the controls for seemingly everything behind the steering wheel!
