Welcome! I have a black '68 two door with 383/727 as well. Looking forward to seeing your pics. Is the "trunk problem" you mention a rusted trunk floor? I think a lot of people here on the forum know that problem all too well...

Another welcome from Austin! And Jason -- At the last Austin Father's Day show (2014) there were two of us '68s, a '66 Hemi Fury, a 300, and I believe one more C.
THat's my ole girl (68 fast top) in black in the middle...
What a phenomenal story. Sorry to hear about the dilemma you are facing. I don't have stories as good as yours (that Car Craft pic is priceless) or a car as sweet as yours, but I'm facing something similar with a 68 fury I had when I was a teenager, then got going almost 20 years later, and...

Again, welcome!
Welcome! I'm up in Austin with a '68. Let's see it! And to echo the others, what's this about a workhorse? Are you going to cut out the rear and make an El Camino type thing? :)

Welcome! Very nice contrast with the white top over the dark blue. What's it got under the hood? Is that top original? Looks to be in nice shape.
Welcome! Love the car. Looks like a cousin to my '68!
