Here is my 1967 Dodge Polara. My wife and I inherited it from her Dad (original owner). Looks and runs great. Having a bit of work done on it now and look forward to driving it once again soon!

What I am planning to do, since the car already has 4 cut outs in the door, is run the 4 door speakers (in parallel or series) on the front channels and use a DVC speaker in the rear seat position on the rear channels. I understand it won't be the same as having 2 independent rear speakers, but...

I also have the original option sheet for the 1967 Polara versions and it has it listed as well under power assist section.

I actually have a copy of the original dealer order form from February 1967 that lists the rear speaker. The original radio is AM only.

It.is a Wildwood master cylinder. Ended up modifying the braked with Wildwood set up for better driveabilith and stopping power.

Here are a couple more. Still has the sticker from Riley Motors in Laramie where it was purchased. Will share more once I get it back from the shop.

How is the sound with just replacing the original speaker set up with the Cuatom Sound versions? I may consider replacing the door panels, assuming I can find something, to get back to more original look.

Thanks for confirming. That is the same set up I have in my Polara. I have been looking into the Custom Autosound's dual voice speakers. They seem to get good reviews and should be a great option for the rear speaker.
