Scuff up the areas and use a little fiberglass resin and mat to fill the holes.

    Chrome Bumper Marks

Factory chrome was not as good as people believe it was. Most shops that do restoration chrome do a much better job than the factories did.

71 Sport Fury PH29 Roof Skin advice

It could be possible that the vinyl top being left on kept some of the water out. If the rest of the car is not that bad, I would do a roof swap. It looks like you would need the roof and the panel behind the roof too. I was never a fan of vinyl tops and never bought any of my cars with them. If...

71 Sport Fury PH29 Roof Skin advice

I would get a good roof from a donor car. I changed the roof on my son's 74 Barracuda and his was not as bad as yours. If you can weld, it was not too bad a job. Trying to fix what you have will be a never-ending battle. If your plans are to just use it for a while and get rid of it, you could...

Fiberglass scoop install on metal hood

I would do as suggested above and get another hood. That way you keep the matching hood and can put the scoop on another one that you can paint black. The support in the center is a must. I would assume you are going to cut the hood to let air into the motor, if not why bother.

Leaky Rear Window - '66 Newport

I would clean the rust as best as I could and then use some epoxy resin. You can cut and put some little pieces of the fiberglass cloth over the holes too. They sell it in kits at most auto stores. Ace hardware sells them too. It is only temporary but if done right should buy you some time.

    Holy Roof Rust, Batman!

I've replaced a few roofs over the years. The amount of work that has to be done with the resin and cloth, etc. is more than just replacing the skin with a good used one. The rusty roof will eventually return.

    Holy Roof Rust, Batman!

One of the problems with vinyl roofs was the lack of maintenance. The vinyl would dry out and become porous. Once that happened there was no hope for the roof. My friend bought a 68 GTO back in 1976. He always used a good dressing on it and 40 years later it is still good. I still think that...

    Holy Roof Rust, Batman!

I think once you use the rust dissolver you might end up with a convertible. I would sand it with some rough sandpaper, then use a rust converter and go over it with fiberglass resin and cloth. Your roof is really porous, and you might end up with a real mess. I still think replacing the roof...

    Chrome Paint

For small areas the Liquid Chrome pens work great. They come in different width tips.

    QQ1 spray can

I prefer using the Preval. The cans of touch up paint I've used never seem to match that good. The Home Depots near me, carry the Preval in the paint section.

Transition from Vinyl Top Removal to Repainting Top

I helped my friend remove a vinyl top from his 1974 Barracuda back around 1980-1981. His top did not go under the glass and all we had to do was remove the stainless trim around the front and back glass. It did go under the drip rails, but all he did was cut it close with a sharp exacto knife...

    Windshield Seal leaks when raining

Maybe it can be sealed without removing it. If it is a small leak you may be able to get it fixed. I would take it to a good glass place and see if they can do it.

Changing out roof options 61 Belvedere

No, just type in welding on a new roof and several should come up.

Changing out roof options 61 Belvedere

There are some videos on YouTube that show entire roofs being changed. I did one on a 1974 Barracuda that had some serious rust around the windshield and back window. Besides all the welding you have to measure everything and write it down.
