    Engine oil

Flat tappet cams need zinc and phosphorus among other things, there are several oils that supply them, valvoline and mobile make "classic car" and "hot rod" and " older car" branded oils, as do the performance oil manufacturers, driven, joe gibbs, amsoil, schaeffer, lucas, etc. Stick with the...

Can I use a b-body gas tank on my C body?

It would be nice to be able to use a b-body tank as tanks inc makes a nice tank with a sump and baffles, and will sell you an in-tank pump and pickup, which makes it nice for any fuel injection setup, or by using a bypass regulator allows you to feed your carb with cool fuel from the tank, which...

    Thinking about a stroker

Note, i should have said you have to use a drop base baseplate with the single snorkel top cover. I have a holley base quickfuel carb and use a drop base with the top cover, this leaves an open annulus under the top cover because it is larger than the baseplate, although the filter still works.

    Thinking about a stroker

mine was a 440 to start with. Hood clearance is close with the performer rpm with the stock single snorkel housing, but do-able. I can only use a 1/2" spacer under my carb

    Connector identification

After sleeping on it, I was turned around. The "T" connector ties to the door pin wires, so it must be a buzzer of some sort. The Black and red "V" connector is the turn signal flasher. The other pink/whit connector is the hazard flasher. And as Big_John said above, the odd 3 blade...

    Connector identification

Thanks gents! I suspected i was looking for something that the precious owner deleted. However, the mystery deepens, i found another connector, that calls into question what i thought i knew. The pink and yellow T-shaped connector looks like it could be a flasher connecror per my wiring...

    Connector identification

I Know this is a c-body forum, but i happen to be working on my 1969 satellite, and found a connector i cannot identify. The single connector, i believe goes to the light above the ignition key, but the weird 3-prong one has me stumped. Maybe a non-existant buzzer or something?

Mopar 8.75 Sure Grip/ Limited Slip rebuild questions

I am not sure how to state their durability more plainly than my post above. I have absolutely pounded on my car, year round, with a big motor, locking differential and sticky tires on the street and strip. The green bearings are great.

Mopar 8.75 Sure Grip/ Limited Slip rebuild questions

The green bearings are not a "downgrade" as i have stated and shown many, many times before. I drive my car daily, long distance, and harder than most, year round with a big stroker motor and a detroit locking differential, and drag race it frequently with sticky tires. Never a problem. If...

    68 300 upgrades from stock (cams/heads etc.)

Forgot to mention that although "completely stock" i did swap to the open chamber heads way back in college, as my brother ran it out of water and cracked the factory closed chamber heads. It still smoked the tires for days.
