Just got a 1960 Imperial Crown. A few things are needed.

If you haven't already tried it rotate the brightness control back and forth several times and see if that works. I've had that work on filament bulbs in the dash but every electro-luminescent car I owned they worked so I don't know if it will help.

Photos of Vintage Auto Dealerships, Repair Shops, and Gas Stations

Looked it up. Page Hughes Buick on Rt. 50 (Annandale Rd and Rt 50) in Falls Church, VA would later become Bill Page Pontiac and is now Bill Page Honda. From another web page I read, looks like this may have been located where a McDonald's now stands (next to Bill Page Honda). The photo is...

    NOT MINE 1967 Imperial convertible

I know where the car is. It's just west of Clifton Springs, NY. That's between Syracuse and Rochester, about an hour west of me. The "Batavia" address on the bogus window sticker gave me the first clue that it might be in NYS. Second clue was the profile of the seller lists him as CEO etc...

    NOT MINE 1967 Imperial convertible

Tell him you want to see it in person Tuesday. Ask which city to book the flight for. Just for sh*ts and giggles, why does he list it at the same amount in both US and Canadian $. Why would he list as CA$ in the US? I reported as scam on FB, but I'm sure they don't care. Scammers suck.

How do you recondition rubber trim?

Not sure if this remedy will help with your problem but when my windshield rubber and wing vent rubber gets hard and grayish looking, I use hand cleaner with lanolin to clean and soften it. The lanolin is important. I use Go Jo and or Whisk creamy hand cleaner without the grit. Gob it on and...

    Electrical opinion

I'm only bypassing the two burnt spots/wires into a new fuse box. My alternator and regulator are both new from napa but the reg has flat blade connectors so it's probably the old style.

    Journey Begins 67' Fury

You're spot on about not running off the cars tank. The old fuel can turn into a turpentine like fluid that will work itself into the valve guides causing stuck valves, bent push rods or worse.
