I have a flex fan on the '66 Newport and it does run cooler, not sure abt the HP gains.....BTW, beautiful New Yorker!!
I'm abt an hr from there if anyone wants it looked over.
I removed the tabs and used adhesive tape to install them. Easily removed by me or the next caretaker.
I, for one think it looks good!! Of course I might be biased......
