    Snowy aouth...

    Can't get to edit the head but I was gonna write "Snowy south"! We do get snow in the swedish south & when that happens it's driving day no matter if you need going somewhere or not! So when I left I took a couple pix, it gets les clean snow about two yards ahead...

    Due to hard to find "& other stuff" I've replaced the steering box with one from a rather modern box from a Dodge truck, loads of work to make it sit in the right position but well worth it!     Broken wiper springs...

    The wipers on my -56 NY have the springs broken off by rust & now I've opened them to fix that & now I wonder if there's anywhere to order new springs? The rest is like new so it's only the springs I need.

    First year trans cooling..?

    I've forgot some of my ex cars details it seems... Such as what kind of trans cooling the -59 Windsor or the -62 Newport had, so now I wonder what year was the first for the lines to lead the trans oil to the radiator? (My -56 NY has had its bits replaced with newer stuff so no use to look there.)

    Wasn't there a discussion abou different brake cylinder combos a while ago..? I'm sticking to original stuff up front on my -56 N Y but I'm thinking abou getting dual master, so I'd be happy if someone remember the thread & / or could point out what year & model master cylinder to use.

    Look'n not proper inside brake drum...

    I just got the e-brake fixed but driver side wouldn't brake so I took of the drum & found it like this... & I can't get the "plate thing" to sit in a way to stop the adjusting wheel to move, it just lays beside the wheel:

    E-brake, change from drum on trans to rear axel

    My -56 N.Y. had got newer engine & trans before I bought it so I changed to newer rear axel for the need of e brake, but now I don't know how to continue... The cables from the axel & the cable from the pedal; how do I do it? Does anyone have or could provide pictures of how I can make it work...

    I've got hold on a 8,3/4 from some big Dodge so I could get emergency brake on my -56 Newyorker & I thought the -56 axel also is 8,3/4 but a guy said the 8,3/4 came for the -57 models... So what's the -56 axel I've got???

    I wonder if someone who has a 63-64 Chrysler could tell me the messurements center-to-center for the spring perchers? I can't find any numbers in any list of those years.

    I've been looking at lists of dimentions of rear axels such as this one: In this list the numbers looks more like metric but that don't seem right at all... & I don't understand it when I look at my messure tape.
