Thanks, and yes, already know that! Also i have written in a paint pen on the lip when you remove the skirt " CAUTION-LEFT HAND THREAD", Tyre shops here in Oz aren't that bright with lefty threads!
I replaced my sender unit with a 3/8 line one, and used the old locking ring, the new one was way too thin and was too loose. Fortunately no leaks-but it shows 3/4's when tank is full so out it comes again.
TTi's do fit, lots of juggling to get them on though, especially if you're using head studs! They could be better, but the best you'll get "off the shelf".
I've just "trial fitted" 15 x 8's, 4" back space with 275/60 Mickey Thompson 3754X radials (28.2'' x 11.4'' - 15''), good fit under the gaurds, 1/2" clearance on the outside though.
I'm not sure if there is a video of it, HOPE SO! Was at an event here in Oz called www.moparsunday.com My mates 66 Chrysler 300 also pulled a 12.7 @ 105!
Just an update.. i broked the gearbox just before Christmas last year, had the engine and box pulled out for new gearbox (old one "welded" itself internally), but any way got a "bit carried away" with giving the engine a check over and freshen up and, um,er well to cut a long story short it's...
Hmmm.... Now i feel soo much better (NOT)after having a 500 stroker just built for me with 440source parts! Got to better than the crap 440 i had built from P****x! No more US built engines for me now!
