I've always used whitewall cleaner and a stiff brush. I keep the car body very wet while doing it, the whitewall cleaner should not run off on dry paint. I do a quarter section at a time, rinsing it well. After it dries, I may do it again if needed. If not, I apply two (2) coats of Mop & Glo...
Glad you found it amusing.....
Gents: That '67 Chrysler has been sold years ago. The fellow who bought it has shown it quite a bit and won with it. I'm glad you found my ad "amusing", If any of you had spent the money and time I did on a car like that, you'd understand the ad. It seems to me...
I found your remarks amusing to say the least. Some were funny, some downright nasty. On the bright side, let me wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, and a safe and healthy New Year. Gerry
Sounds to me like you're not very knowledgeable on "prestine" "C" bodied cars. The new owner has more than one of these, and knew a bargain when he saw it. Enough already, it's none of your business (or anyone elses) what I sold it for, stop guessing you're not even close. They sell "junk" for...
I don't know what you mean by "kill the flip", but I think I would never ask you (or anyone) what he/she paid for his/her car.
I enjoyed this forum. I very much enjoyed showing my "C" bodied car at six (6) car shows this summer. It was a hit and I was invited to show it at the 2014 Hemmings...
You can ask the new owner when you see the car at the car shows, it's really no ones business what he paid for it, but if he wants to tell you that's fine. He bought a beautiful car, and he's very happy. I wish him happy motoring, and I'm certain it will be a good investment for him as well. You...
Gents/Ladies:
I sold my beautiful, original, low mileage 38k to another collector in southern NY. Look for it at the local car shows in Dutchess county. I'll miss it, but it went to the right guy who has another "C" body as well. It was fun owning a "C"body, but just was too big for my storage...
$9850 puts it in your garage. If you are not interested in it, perfectly fine, if interested in it, come see/drive it, then make a decision. Very simple, very easy. I may have it for a long, long time, doesn't matter to me, I'll find extra storage space. I'm starting to like it even better when...
Thanks Patrick, I appreciate your effort. The car is simply gorgeous, not another one like it for sure. Whoever calls me on it will not be dissappointed (315)789-3670 office or (315)521-1688

I'm out of storage space, that's the reason for selling it. Yes, those are my dealer places, I've been a dealer for 50 years here in Geneva, NY, the Chrysler is mine and in my collection. I use my dealer plates on ALL my cars, even my wife's driver. This car will not dissappoint anyone, it's a...
I use an 11" orbital polisher, don't think the 6" pad they are selling would work....but the reviews are great. Worth a try if you have a tiny 6" orbital buffer....

Looking for like new, undamaged right front fender edge molding for 1967 Newport Custom. No emails, kindly (and simply) call me if you have one for sale.

Price it right and I'll buy it immediately.
Thank you.

I like the ;67 better, it has a better dash layout, and the Newport Custom has a nicer interior. Then again I'm partial. Having perhaps the nicest surviving 1967 Newport Custom (38K original miles) makes my decision much easier. [smile]
Happy motoring,
Gerry
Duro Coat makes vinyl dye in a spray can. If you clean your carpet and put it in the syn for as long as it takes to get perfectly dry, this will work. I used it only on a black carpet, so I'll only attest for the black color.
First fluff up the carpet with a stiff bristle brush and vacuum it...
Stormer:
Depends on the kind of paint you have on it. My guess is you have enamel pant, not lacquer. I would clean and prep the finish (orbital buffer) with good liquid cleaner polish. Then I'd sprinkle some corn starch on a part of it, wipe it off with the cleanest micro fiber toweling you can...
Getting back to the start of this tread:
1. My car isn't worth anything so you say...
2. Everyone likes it regardless
3. I've passed the bull crap part of iniciation into the site
4. I've decided to keep (and show) my Newport
5. I've met some interesting guys with abrupt rematks (I can handle...

No you got that wrong, after seeing me buy exotic cars through the years and pay big bucks for them not knowing where they would sell, they thought of me as "big baller". Get that nasty thing out of your eye so you can see things as they should be......bad eyesight sometimes causes...
I guess I graduated to being as "MOPAR" guy afterall;...
In case you'd like to see my recent 1965 Dodge D100 Sweptline Pickup (I reluctantly sold it..) , maybe you'll take me into the MOPAR fold afterall....now that I own a "C-Body". Check out the truck and the story which appeared in...
We're there any 1967 Newport Custom Sedans there with really low (under 38K miles)? I don't think so, I hsad someone there looking for me, he didn't see a one like mine there. Not that I care either way. I'm aboard this site to have some fun, enjoy my car (I decided to keep it for awhile even...
