Restoration (engine rebuild) shops in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Maybe some others on this list will chime in, but there is Bruno's in Rockville...... Classic Car Rebuild & Restoration |Rockville, MD | Bruno’s Classic Muscle Yes, the website is truly "muscle-car focus'ed," but they do more than what's shown.........

Suggestions for a "Performance" muffler that isn't too loud

This is great to know. The previous owner of my '67 NY'er put FlowMasters on it (not sure what series), great sound at idle, and a bit of a drone at speed...I have a high threshold for that kind of noise, and since it breathes/idles so smoothly, etc., I'm leaving well enough alone, but that...

NOT MINE 1967 VIP on BringATrailer...... (NOT mine)

Hadn't looked on there in a while, but a 1967 Fury VIP appeared on there today. Anyone know of this car? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-plymouth-fury-8/ Seems to have only minor modifications, and minor issues, but is a nice, period color, otherwise reasonably good shape, and is well...

    Radiator, recore or replace?

I have often heard of replacement radiators not holding up as well as the originals. It may not be cheap or quick, but I'd recommend re-coring..........

    My 70 300 TNT Convertible

I drove that car to Carlisle and back (to DC) in 2022 when my NY'er was "laid up" with a bad ammeter guage. This 300 is one of the best-driving C-bodies I have been in. VERY fast, and nice solid, taut handling.......... glad it's still in such good hands with Rip......

1967 Crown Coupe purchased at estate sale

That lemon oil should be fine, the veneer will likely drink it right in........ the veneer not only looks thin, but IS thin, so get the finest sandpaper you can, and be v-e-r-y gentle with it.... OH - and lexol the dash, as well.... Good luck.

1967 Crown Coupe purchased at estate sale

Nice score! Looks like a nice, "high and dry" example, lucky you!. Haven't seen gold (at least, I THINK it's gold from the photos) w/green interior (just look at that green translucent wheel) in many years, an attractive, truly 1960's color combination. Give that green leather a good soaking...

68 Town and Country Reverse Lights

Come to think of it, it MAY be a separate switch for automatic w/auto-pilot, it would be a good idea to check the parts manual.

68 Town and Country Reverse Lights

The rest of us are loving this wagon, too. Guess the obvious question would be whether (or not, hopefully) the back-up light switch is different for a wagon than for other C-bodies...........

Nice low option 66 Polara at a local show yesterday

Time capsule, to say the least, great color as well........ although low-option'ed, by virtue of having column shift, this "Plodge" is nonetheless equipped with the "millenial anti-theft device.......

Has anyone ever won a car show with their C body?

Glad I'm not the only one who's never at my own car at a show - I'm often out/about. What I always enjoy more than a trophy, is someone who 1.) walked by the car when I wasn't there, and 2.) came back to it hoping to find me to ask questions, or tell them about the one "just like it" that they...
