For Sale Relisting again-70 vert 300 survivor.

It's all good. If my take was wrong then I am not above admitting so. I've been around the collectible car society (mopars only) for several decades and have witnessed a lot of people that couldn't find their *** with Google. I've restored major show winners and appreciate the survivor cars...

For Sale 1970 300 vert again

The top is white. I had a brand new top installed using the original style material however it was put on too tight. The top is a PIA to close AND a few stitches have separated. Realistically a top is a pretty inexpensive item and I'm sure this one can be fixed for small$. I'm not trying to...

For Sale 1970 300 vert again

Thanks. The car is amazing but we just never use it. There is literally not a spot of rust under this car and the body is completely dent and repair free. The motor runs perfectly too.

For Sale 1970 300 vert again

I still have the 70 300 convertible and im, again looking to sell it. I am lowering the price to 15K FIRM. I tried to restart the thread from 2019 but it is locked? That thread had all the photos etc. I will try to get the photos reloaded or maybe an admin would unlock the original for sale thread?

    For Sale 1970 300 convertible

I agree with what you say here. I don't have thin skin. I've been around a lot of different types of people as most here have. I just didn't see my ad as a reasonable opening for it. No harm no foul. I'll leave the car here for a couple of weeks before listing it elsewhere Thanks all.

For Sale NOT MINE 300 conv.

I don't like that year 3000 but I sorta like that car and I really hope it gets saved. It will take someone with a great set of spheres because I'm sure the rot is abundant. As I said, I hope it finds an owner. BTW I actually don't hate the purple color. Looks like a great VIP vehicle for the...

    For Sale 1970 300 convertible

Thanks for that. It's pretty much how I thought everyone here would treat my post. Still I guess some get off by searching for places to posts their negative thoughts. Personally I don't get it. Then again I don't "get" the whole Facebook attraction/mentality either. As my mother used to say...

    For Sale 1970 300 convertible

I think I mentioned that the car was repainted by the original owner. If I failed to mention this then I am doing so now. The color is a perfect match single stage of some sort done a long long time ago. As for the interior changes I can't speculate on them at all. This is how I got the car in...

    For Sale 1970 300 convertible

Yes it is originally black exterior. I'll post a couple of trunk pictures later that show the inside of the trunk lid. My wife and I drove in it and clocked maybe 300 miles for the first few years we've had it. My wife is a nervous Nelly and the car stalled at a light one time. The car flooded...

I am selling my 300 convertible. I am in SE North Carolina. I am putting it here for a couple of weeks in case anyone is interested because this forum has helped me greatly in the past with this car. It's a great car that is nearly original and here are some details: Originally from CA Miles...

Resurrection of my 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

Keep it up and thanks for the updates. It is indeed a lonely quest but you are going to get there so long as you keep doing some work. Sounds dumb because I know sometimes it seems like the end is nowhere to be found. Keep going and one day it will be finished.

    Steps to troubleshoot speedometer

Thanks. I should have mentioned that I threw the old cable away. :( QUOTE="CBODY67, post: 739702, member: 475"]There are probably some replacement parts speedo cable assys out there. Internal cable and outer housing. I suspect they'll all be pretty much the same quality. Only thing is you'll...

    Steps to troubleshoot speedometer

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get back out to look further. This car doesn't have cruise control btw. If I may pose a few more questions in case anyone wishes to give me answers: Is there a good OEM spec speedo cable for this car? 440 hp auto if that matters. Can...
