yes it has points and ill check them again but I looked at em yesterday and they looked fine n clean. but I did just look at the distributor itself and I think my bushings are shot I have about an inch of up n down play in it

I cant rebuild the old trans. The previous owner took out the original 318 n dropped In a 383 n from there they couldnt make it work. So I got it looked n saw what was going on n tracked down a new trans that would fit the big block.
