    Color HELP!

With all the debates, great points and chimes very much appreciated, I am going to go original M1 or M for 1968. I always knew I would (because I know my gramps would prefer that) I just thought I would entertain the idea because I liked that T5/burnt orange what ever it is. And I like it on...

    '68 Newp door hinge rebuild?

I searched the forum didn't see any how to. Is it literally a matter of pounding out old pin and bushing and inserting the new ones? Thanks to both of you, truly.

    '68 Newp door hinge rebuild?

Has anyone successfully accomplished a hinge rebuild? Driver side hinge has a bit of slack in it and wondered if there are parts/pins/brass bushings to rebuild (highly doubtful) or if I can improvise with a different kit for another make/model/year? Any thoughts?

    Color HELP!

Great point. My knee jerk was to keep it all original-interior and exterior. That being said, and given I got lucky, the original interior color is black on black. The seats have been re-wrapped as well as the door panels have been redone all with the same material. With that not in the...

    Color HELP!

Thanks, yeah I like it. The only thing is the car pictured above near the fire station is not mine. I have the correct color code for my original color. What I am trying to match is the T5 on what I was told on this car above vs the test panel on the right in my picture. The test panel on the...

    Color HELP!

Yes! I'm aware. I like the T5 but am unsure if that is the actual color featured on the car vs. my test panel on the right in the picture.

    Color HELP!

I am hoping this picture can help narrow it down. I would like to try and find this color but not sure where to start. The folks I am working with are having a hard time matching this color. They think it is a custom color and it may well be. T5 is the code for I think 71 Plymouth? I...

    Steering boxes...

I'm not too sure what the numbers are but I want to make sure you know to keep the hose line "nipple" where it connects to the box itself and goes to the power steering pump. I didn't and the new one didn't come with one. (facepalm)

Advanced Auto Parts for the win and MOOG blows!

AGREED! The bottom line makes more sense now to most companies! What is the next best up and coming parts manufacturer now?! Is there one? I am pleased with the FA395 fitment as I said the threads were actually there! The part looked new. You can see on the right ball joint in the picture...

Advanced Auto Parts for the win and MOOG blows!

Hey all just wanted to share my experiences. I needed to replace my UBJ's and watched endless videos on how to do so. I found this vid very useful!! I walked into autozone- OReilly's after I discovered you do NEED the square socket mentioned on another thread. The fellas at both these locations...

    Dynamat

I've used Dynamat Extreme which is the thicker of them all. I now use Noico. This stuff is very inexpensive and does just as good of job if not better. I really like it. I POR15'd the floor waiting about 2 weeks to allow it to cure then slapped this on. Immediately silenced the rattles...
