    Door seals

Perfect, that's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks all.

    Door seals

Hi all, does anyone have a source for replacement door seals for my 76 2dr Newport? (a faint hope I know). I'm not a purist so I welcome suggestions of cheap alternatives too. Thanks.

    Tailpipes.....

Would you mind letting us know who your guy is, I live in Quebec and would love a dual system for my Newport. I'm with you on TTI, I understand it's a great product but by the time you've paid for the stuff and then the shipping and the import duty and the tax on the merchandise and the shipping...

    Radiators.

I You have a few more options for yours, in that the dimensions and inlet outlet placement are very similar to 70s and 80s Dodge Trucks and Ramchargers CU889 is almost identical to CU332

    Radiators.

Thanks, I had a look on their site, seems like good kit, but with shipping to Canada and customs duty and taxes etc etc it's prohibitively expensive for me.

    Radiators.

I already did, here's their reply. to me, Spectra Good day, Unfortunately, the CU506 is obsolete and we don’t have any replacement for it. We no longer produce or have this part in stock. We are sorry for the inconvenient. Thank you Spectra Question Technique...

    Radiators.

    It's a 76 Newport 2dr 400ci. Looks like the original factory rad.

    Radiators.

My radiator gets damp at the top of the cores when it gets hot, it's 45 years old so I'm hardly surprised. The Spectra premium part# is CU506, Spectra now list this as obsolete and don't produce it any more. I found a site here in Canada (WrenchMonkey), that listed one as being "In Stock" so I...

    Carb to swap or not?

Ok folks update time. I had a couple of good chats with Dana from Woodruff Carburetor (what a damn nice man he is.) and we went through what was going on and he gave me some great pointers and advice. Turns out the dual ballast resistor was wired wrongly for a start, but most of my issues were...

    Carb to swap or not?

Love the video, the whine from the manual box is magic too.

    Carb to swap or not?

Would be nice to live in a climate where it was unnecessary but I'm in Quebec.

    Carb to swap or not?

Thanks for your replies, it's not a lean burn car, has a standard mopar ign system and current carb is not a lean burn one. From what I understand lean burn was on 78 on and some late 77 cars, this is a 76 with no cat. I'll have a check of the choke with a meter when I've cleared some snow.

    Carb to swap or not?

Can I give you a call next week?

    Carb to swap or not?

Which post on fb? And yes I intend to get a vacuum gauge.

    Carb to swap or not?

OK Friends, here's the thing, when I got my 76 Newport it was hardly running, the previous owner told me he'd replaced the ign system, (which was evidently untrue) and it didn't have the original Carter Thermoquad on it either. I found that it had a TQ from a 318 lean burn motor so i hunted for...

    Newport glove compartment lock/catch

Cool, I'm not worried about keyed or not. If you're interested in parting with a set drop me a pm. Cheers.

    Newport glove compartment lock/catch

Hi all, a few weeks ago I was made a too attractive offer for my 67 Fury III hardtop so it went to a new home. I am now the proud owner of a 76 Newport, 2dr with a 400 and 4 barrel. I got it with only 1 key which fits roughly in the ignition but nowhere else, I can get new locks etc from...

67 FURY RACK & PINION STEERING

The Ackerman angle is centred on the pivots (that's swivels, ball joints, kingpins, etc) for the front wheels and the centre of the rear axle with the wheels in a straight ahead position. The tie rod ends need to be more or less on the legs of the triangle to avoid excessive tyre scrub. However...

67 FURY RACK & PINION STEERING

Well I have to confess to being a little surprised when I read it, as I'd not come across offset spindles except for camber, which would make no difference.
