Anyone try selling on a Hemings auction?

I subscribe to the mag, I’ve searched their site online for cars, never thought of them as an ‘auction’ site. Then I tripped over the auction site looking into posting an online ad.

Looking for the horn relay - 60 Plymouth.

Anyone know roughly where it is (besides just under the dash!) I crawled up under there and even swept through with a camera but can’t see anything that looks like a relay.

Parking brake holding up hill only!?!

I have a 60 Plymouth with the push button trans and parking brake on the rear of the transmission. On very gentle inclines, it is holding pointing downhill, but no holding when pointing uphill. Brake has no effect. Pretty odd. is it just a matter of needing to keep tightening it? I think I...

    Wagon exhaust systems

I need cat back (well, what would have been a cat) exhaust. I see Waldron makes them but just for NYB and Newport. does the wagon have the same under carriage? if not, am looking at having to find a custom exhaust shop?

What do y’all think about this?

Looks like first one on the block. No reserve. Unless that is a Speedo swap, I’m thinking police special. 1967 Plymouth Fury II Sedan | E25 | Kissimmee 2021 | Mecum Auctions

    77 727 linkage adjustment

New carb is in. Everything more or less fit even with the spacer on the carb, but the shift points are off. Mostly delayed shifting up. I am guessing it is this piece right here that at idle appears firm against the stop. I have no idea how transmissions shift themselves let alone how to...

I realized today that I don’t like my wagon.

I don’t drive it because it starts soooo hard warm that I don’t want to go anywhere and shut it off. 77 T&C. 440. 107k miles. Ignition all tuned and recent. New fuel pump (just in case) Rebuilt TQ -professional from a real good carb shop. Starts first crank cold. Runs like a top. Smooth. No...

    Fog on the inside windows....

...60’ Plymouth, if it has sat for a while and I drive it with the defrost on (or heat in the cold), the windshield steams up after about 5 minutes, in the next 10-12 minutes, it is all dry. If I drive it every day or so after that, with the heat on, or off, doesn’t happen. Had a 78 NYB did that...

Time for some Day 2 Upgrades!

The car is finally done, so I call it ‘new’. Took 5 months to rebuild the rear end (thanks for all the help folks). Everything is new and/or rebuilt but the body (leaving it as found from original owner..... thinking it needs new wheels. Slotted Anson rims? Cragars? What would an old Plymouth have?

Looking for rear end parts for 1960 Plymouth

Thought since the whole entire car was rebuilt, the only thing left was the rear end. All the seals were leaking a little so I thought ‘what the heck, let’s rebuild’. That was 4 months ago. Shop said the first round of parts I ordered didn’t fit. Bearing specifically. I got the spec’d rebuild...

What is the secret to finding wiper blades for a ‘60 Plymouth?

It appears to have the original Anco wiper arms and blades. Nothing readily available seems to attach. I have tripped over some NOS parts for other years, but no luck on anything that looks close. What else have you done to replace your blades?

    Looking for tailgate weatherstrip.

My 77 T&C rear door seal is pretty beat. So is the window whisker on the outside. I realize NOS and repop don’t exist, but has anyone found a good universal replacement?

Upgraded to a 40 amp subwoofer....

now I have to upgrade the 60 amp gennie or I won’t be able to run the car at night! I hoping this is a simple affair and someone here has done it. It is a ‘60 Fury with stock everything 318 poly. Any thoughts?

I’ll bet someone here knows where to find...

... a hood pad and cold air intake for my 77 T&C. Not finding much online. These formals can be tough to find parts for for sure.

    While we’re under the hood...

what does everyone do with the defunct Lean Burn ‘bay junk’? I still have the LB unit bolted on to the air cleaner and all the wiring intact. I was thinking of leaving the air cleaner whole for nostalgia, but should I cut out the terminals from the wiring harness? And while everything but the...

Anyone know where this vacuum hose comes from?

This is on my 77 wagon. It is the Water Valve. Cleaning up the engine bay. Heater and AC have been working inspite of this hose being disconnected. FSM says that the line comes from under the dash from a vacuum switch but I can’t find where it passes through the firewall. Can’t find a vac hose...

Before I hurt myself or cause more damage....

... I’m sure someone knows what to do here! I understand the spring with unwind if I simply remove the motor. How do I need to secure that spring or the components it is holding... Thanks in advance.

Anyone take a 60 Fury dash apart?

I’m trying to fix the dash lights of which 0 are working. It was a nightmare to replace the headlight switch and even trying to find all the lights from below will be near impossible. Anyone have any ideas on taking pieces off to get in behind? I’m guessing the main slice is bad but can see...
