    Carlisle 2024

I will be there again this year. Shout out to our B-body brothers! They do a fantastic job with their tent, and their hospitality is greatly appreciated . . .

New pop ads on bottom of page

Mine just started today. I can't even see what I'm typing on the phone. Agree . . . they gotta go!

OLD Fargo Truck resto/rehab...not mine but an interesting take on it

    Gee . . . I don't feel so bad now, when I go down to the garage . . .

    Certi Card

Just some additional info specific to the 65 CertiCard: 1965 cards are unlike the ones which came in 1966 and newer. They look exactly like a credit card. All of the info is typed into the plastic itself. There are NO embossed metallic strips, that the later ones had. I do not believe that the...

    Certi Card

Yes, 65s came with a CertiCard. But, unlike later years, dealer just gave you a card to carry in your wallet. No holder inside the engine compartment . . .

WANTED Still Wanted 70/71/72 Polara/ Monaco

Yes, I saw that one too! Rather odd set of options . . .

    Proper Fuel Cap

Stant G-32 non-vented works well on my 65 Dodge, w/ similar tank/filler placement . . . I think I finally came to the conclusion that non-vented was used on the "regular" tanks, but vented was used on station wagons. But, I could be wrong . . .

Question / observation - springs on front drum brakes (1967)

I remember (briefly) looking into the topic of self energizing brakes a few months ago, when my buddy asked me exactly what it meant. I did find a pretty concise and informative explanation in a MTSC booklet, somewhere in the 1963 time frame, IIRC. Sorry I can't tell you which one,as I'm out of...

    Aftermarket Mirror Possibilities??

I believe the mirror you want has #2935805 cast into the base. Been looking for one for friend, who has exact same car, with exact same problem! They're out there. Saw a bunch at Carlisle (of course I bought the wrong one), but then none at all at the Nats. Good luck in your search . . .

    300 hubcaps.

And, to my eye, one of the best looking wheel covers Chrysler ever made . . . ! (I don't even own a 300 . . . they only came in 14" . . . but I still have a couple of sets, because they look SO darn good I just couldn't resist . . . )

    Just Wondering . . .

Yes, it's interesting to note that the first descriptor is "Ross Roy Data Book". By the mid-60s, they were simply listed as "Data Book" w/o any reference to Ross Roy. MANY of the items which were sent to the Dealer in the 50s and 60s made reference to the Ross Roy marketing company - MTSCs...

    Just Wondering . . .

Came across this (empty) notebook at a swap meet a few weeks back. I know that it's supposed to contain a data book, but I was wondering if anybody knew what year? From the font/design/colors I'm guessing maybe the early 60s . . . ? Thanks to all . . . !

    1965 Monaco Fender trim

If you at least have the parts, rechrome is your best option. Honestly, these parts just don't exist! I've been doing 65 Monacos since 1990, and have only seen one partial set come up for sale . . . Good Luck . . .

    Mopar Nationals 2023

I'll be there. Of course it's in my "back yard", but I've gone every year since 2001. And yes, it IS different than Carlisle - but not really in a bad way. It's smaller now, but I've found parts at the Nats that weren't at Carlisle. And it's kind of fun to watch the old Maxies tearing down...

Tilt Steering Column with Floor Shifter for 65 Fury III

Yes, I believe that floor shift/console was standard Sport Fury fare. This would be the last year for cable-shift version. Tilt wheel is actually a Saginaw assembly, which Chrysler purchased from GM during those years. They are getting pretty hard to come by. I met a Chevy guy who told me that...

    missing cover? Chrysler 300, 1966

ABC Moparts had these filler pieces available, at least a few years ago. Repo in fiberglass, sturdier than the original pressed fiberboard ones . . .

    For Sale 1971 Chrysler 300

Not a fusie expert here, but this one has me intrigued. Could someone explain to me how the broadcast sheet would help identify the 999 color? Wouldn't it still list the 3-digit code as 999? Or would something be typed down in the remarks section, or maybe handwritten . . . ? At any rate...

    1965 Monaco headliner

Would be very interested in seeing more pictures of your project. My car has a beautifully redone headliner/sail panel in it - EXCEPT for the fact that they used that darn "mouse fur" cloth, and I absolutely HATE it. Would love to replace it with correct, although I struggle with the idea of...
