Links Bridge Run (Maryland, October 8, 2022)

My wife has decided to come along. I’m not much into wine but she is so she’s looking forward to it.

    Saddest thing(s) I've seen lately.

Just curious- was this the one that was for sale in Rochester, MN back in ‘17?

Carlisle Deadline approaching (earlier than previous years)

Just an FYI - I registered my Pontiac for the GM Nationals on May 22nd which was 12 days past the Gate N Go deadline but still received my show pass yesterday. The deadlines may have been extended.

Rear window reveal clips - 72 Fury

Actually I didn’t have to reattach the lower molding. It was still good.

    Removing dash light panel

Problem solved. Lower left fuse that supplies power to B2 terminal was corroded and creating too much resistance. Took some sandpaper to it and now dash lights are working.

    Removing dash light panel

Correction. The terminal for the courtesy lights is not the same as the dash. I’m not getting any voltage at terminal B2 on the headlight switch. That’s my problem.

    Removing dash light panel

I’m not getting any voltage at the instrument lamp fuse. I checked continuity from the switch (inst lamp terminal) to the fuse box and then all the way to the ground screw on the dash lamp panel. Checks OK. Courtesy lights are working which I think gets it’s power from the same terminal as...

    Removing dash light panel

What is the easiest way to remove the dash light panel? Do the lamp sockets come out or is there a disconnect for the Orange wiring? I’m troubleshooting an issue with my dash lights not working and I think the panel is not grounding properly so I am going to sand it down. It would easier to...

An Exercise in 1974 Mopar Colors

Unfortunately I don't. It's a miracle I have the broadcast sheet....my father for some reason had it hidden in a file cabinet. This car spent most of it's life in upstate New York - in a small town called Caledonia. However I think it originally was sold in Western Pennsylvania. My...

An Exercise in 1974 Mopar Colors

The '74 that I had in high school was JY9. I recently just found the build sheet for it. As I remember that paint had gold flakes in it....very nice to look at on a sunny day.

Creamery Run (Leesburg, VA to Potomac, MD - Saturday Oct. 10, 2020 2:30-5PM)

Yeah - people probably thought we were crazy driving on that road. I’m laughing about it now. It was definitely a memorable adventure.

No brakes when car is running

This is directly from the service manual. Great piece of literature.....6000 pages and no table of contents. I have the electronic copy. I am assuming this was written for a GM Tech II scanner. I don't have that and won't be getting one. It costs more than what the car is worth. Instead...

No brakes when car is running

Yep...and it's trying to take me with it.

No brakes when car is running

Answer for #1 - No the ABS does not run when the pedal hits the floor. Answer for #2 - It has front discs and rear drums. I would think if there was an issue with the ABS then I would be getting a code. When I first got the car started again I had an ABS code of C0236 which is a missing...

No brakes when car is running

Hi Everyone, Normally I would not post a question about a car other than a Mopar on this site however I feel that the collective knowledge here is far better than what is available through other online resources for this type of vehicle. You guys know a lot about auto mechanics so I'm going...

    Leon's Junk Yard Culpepper, Virginia

Honestly guys....I probably saw less than a third of the yard and I was focused on looking for Fury's. I didn't see any E bodies....I would have taken pictures if I did. I passed through the Ford area and saw a lot of Galaxies and Fairlane's (4 door models)...and a whole lot of 2nd generation...
