NOT MINE 1967 Plymouth Fury VIP 383 Commando HP Hardtop Sedan Only 17K Miles - $55,000 (Westchester, New York)

Yeah, 55K is nuts. Let’s say that a regular survivor 67 Plymouth Fury/VIP 4 door with, say, 60K miles in appropriate condition is worth 10-15K these days, how much is the premium for an “elite” survivor over that? I’d personally pay a good 50% more, maybe a bit higher if the car was as good as...

    NOT MINE GG1 Green 383 "H" Code 1967 Plymouth VIP 4DR HDTP, $55,000!!

I saw this thread and thought the car would be a really cool companion to the originally GG1 67 Plymouth H code car I bought earlier this year. Mine is just a lowly A-body though, obviously nowhere near the value of a C-body four door.

    My new arrival!

Congrats on a great find, that's probably as good as it gets for a 67 Monaco in every way. Colour combo, running gear, options, condition, etc. Very nice.

Meet Regina FQ3, a 1970 Polara convertible who turns 51 today

I'm not sure if it's different now but I bought a dash speaker from S&M for a Dart several years ago and although it fit fine, it sounded awful so I ended up going a different route. I wasn't expecting high end sound but I swear it was worse than an OEM speaker from back in the day.

    Which wheels?

For me, dog dish caps are really hit and miss. They often look good on dark or medium coloured cars with black wheels (like this Monaco) but to me they usually don't look good on body coloured wheels, especially in the lighter or hi-impact colours. I guess because of the dark colour and the...

    SOLD Dual snorkel air cleaner

Could be. I have a very similar one that I was told would be correct for a 74 BB Charger or GTX.

    WANTED 3004195 accessory tachometer

You're right. I got a bit braver and pushed the "visor" back with some muscle and it slid off the back of the housing with no damage and it definitely appears to be the one pictured by Chrome58

Interesting old matchbook found in my 67 vip

This one would be from 71-72 (Scamp 71-up, Cricket 71-73, Fargo -72) from a Canadian Chrysler/Plymouth/Fargo truck dealership.

    WANTED 3004195 accessory tachometer

Looking at this closer, it does appear to have the brushed trim ring hiding under the “visor”. I wonder if it’s a newer version of the same part or maybe an alternate version for use on top of the dash.

    WANTED 3004195 accessory tachometer

After reading through the instructions, I think you’re spot on regarding the tachs being newer and the instructions being for an older tach like the one you’ve pictured. I should have read the instructions earlier instead of assuming they went with the tach because they were part of the same...

    WANTED 3004195 accessory tachometer

I don't see any screws holding the "visor" on so I assume that it's held on with some kind of adhesive. I tried to lift it around the edges at several different places but it's stuck on really good.

I added a side pic to the initial post. Might have to refresh the page to see it.

    WANTED 3004195 accessory tachometer

NOT MINE 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury Coupe - $15,800 - Tarragona, Catalunya, Spain

Interesting colour, doesn’t seem to be a stock colour offered domestically for 1970. Interesting to see what the fender tag says.

NOT MINE 1972 Chrysler Newport Coupe - $5,000 - Inkom, Idaho

Going by the condition of the seat, steering wheel, sill plate, and pedals, that mileage could be legit. I do like those 72 Chrysler’s and that one is a beauty.

    odd ball ignitions

I think I still have the box and wiring in a box somewhere. It was on a 66 Fargo van with a custom purple paint job.
