    Hood trouble

The hood on my 72 has been tough to close, Let’s just say there’s a special process to close it like walking to the back corners & Pushing down on each side so the fenders don’t get guillotined when you give it the 4 inch shove down to click in the front. Now there is a new twist. The drivers...

    Celluloid Fuselage February!

Just a reminder for any younger members here. Keep your eyes peeled on your local cable for action movie channels for some of the street action movies that were made in the early 1970s that are loaded with C body cars squads, limos you name it. The Jim Brown & Fred Williamson Slaughter/Hammer...

    DIY headliner

I was considering making a headliner replacement my off season project for this late fall/winter. I’ve seen decent ones for around $140. That’s fine, I’d just like to know what I’m getting myself into before I take the plunge. 72 4 door hard top if that make a difference or not. Reuse the bows...

    Hood riding high

anyone out there ever have the rear corners of there hood stay up an inch after closing it. It’s gotten worse & I have to make sure it’s lined up so my quarter panel doesn’t get the guillotined. I can push it down afterwards by hand but this is no way to go thru life.

    For Sale Tucked away C’s

I’m not sure if these are for sale but there at a place that sells used cars. It’s next to a place that the company I work for subs out a lot of printing work to. Might be worth a call doesn’t look like there missing much. Certainly something you don’t see everyday in New England.

Thermoquad replacement or buy a back up?

I’m new here & I know this has probably been discussed here more than the zapruder film but my thermoquad is epoxy repaired and running great but on borrowed time according to my recently found local carb Jedi master. I love the stock look & I guess it doesn’t hurt to have a spare. Or should I...

    Slightly tilted

My 72 Newport has a noticeable list to one side. What could cause this? I had new leaf springs installed about 6 years ago but I did not notice it then. If I measure the top of each rear wheel well I’m almost 1 3/4 in off. Shocks torsions? Any ideas?
