    Torqueflite question

The new oil pan has fixed the big oil leak problems I had, but there's still a small drip. Found out it's coming from that round plug in the middle of the picture (rear right side of the transmission, just above where the pan bolts on). Can anybody tell me what that is?

    Fast gearbox oil drop :-(

if you don’t have time to drain the oil from the transmission using the drain plug, just find a convenient obstruction at just the right hight and drive over it. The oil will be out before you can say “what was that noise?” :-(

Then I decided to try and remove the instrument panel completely so I could take as look at the clock that doesn't work. I removed all the visible screws at the top and underneath (visible through the square holes)...

    An hour in the Trunk

Tidying up my new to me 72 Newport whenever I get a bit of time. Today I worked on getting rid of the surface rust in the trunk. An hour of sanding got me to this point. Not too bad I think for such an old unrestored car from Pennsylvania.

    72 Newport now in Germany

Hi all. Thought I'd share this with you. I bought this Newport a few weeks back (my first old US car). It spent all its life in Pennsylvania and was shipped to Germany this year. I'm the third owner. Got it registered with historic tags (much cheaper to tax and insure). Took it out for her first...

    Welcome Xlratr to FCBO!

An expat Brit, living in Germany for more than 30 years. Mostly been a motorcycle guy but always loved the 60s to early 70s Chryslers since I was a boy. Saw the film "Vanishing Point" when I was about 12 and it obviously had a big influence on me :-). In an "if not now.." moment I've bought a 72...
