My Dart pushes the throttle open instead of pulling it. I don't think it's getting full throttle this way. Anyone converted their FL car tp the cable and pull the throttle open? What parts did you use? How did you work out the kickdown?

I was just talking to an engine builder friend of mine. He said it's old. Still runs. Prolly worn (it is). If it's not puking (it isn't), 200 isn't going to hurt anything. Enjoy it and don't stress.

Well, the best answer I can give you us, "Why not?" lol. My column is pretty wore out. The threads for the wheel nut are about shot, and it's almost impossible to find a wheel adapter for the 60 since they were only made for one year and have long been discontinued. I have an aftermarket...

Here's what I'm wanting to do, and why I'm asking. I want to add a tilt column in my Dart. From what I've come to understand this is no easy task with the 60 box. That's why I'm asking if something from a newer car will cross over and fit

It's a V8 power steering car. Will anything more modern fit on a 60? I'd like to upgrade both the box and the steering column if anything newer will fit the car and able to change with the engine installed

Good call! I looked at the manifold, it looked good. A little dirty, but looked good. The head? That'll be up to the machine shop

They've been broke for the two years I've owned the car. The leak was getting worse and worse the more I drove it. It is time to fix it, and fix it right this time

60 Dart, 318 Poly. Three broken exhaust manifold bolts. I took the manifold off to actually see what's going on. Two of the bolts broke off flush, maybe a little bit inside the head. The third one is a disaster. Someone broke it before and tried to drill it out. They missed and drilled crooked...

I tried to sell mine for $5K and got no hits. It's not rusted like that at all. The floors need some help, but the rest is pretty solid. He's asking way too much for that car. I'm glad I didn't sell mine though

I had to mess with mine more today. Adjusted the switch (which isn't the right one for the car), bent the bracket that holds the switch (home-made to work with the switch that isn't the right one for the car), and it all seems to be working correctly now. We'll see

I have the same problem. Ended up having to add a couple springs to the pedal to pull it back all the way. Have to get out and check the lights every time I get out
