There appears to be rear defog vent openings on either side of my 68 Newports rear deck. Was there ever vents there and does anyone have a picture of what they would look like?

Holy Ford do f150 rot out sills rapidly. Helping out a friend. Ford wanted 600 for dr side 2700 for pass side Had 18 ga inners bent and 20 ga routers bent locally for 100ish Outer tacked on and will be finished today. Goal is rocker guard around bottom edge of truck so not too fussy of finish

What are these brackets for(one on each side of trans crossmember) and why would someone cut them? Yeah its rusty. Plan on a dry ice blast when it's on the lift next.

Spent yesterday at CCP auction in Toronto. Couple of interesting cars going on the block today and tomorrow. Friday prices seemed low. The Belvedere was nice with a few alignment issues at hood. The Fury has paint issues and is a little rougher but solid.

This is my Newport project. Have had the car for 20yrs after purchasing from original owners grandson. His Mom made him sell it as he owed me money and was taking care of it. It's been a rolling project with periods of being daily driver in Wpg. Mb. and periods of resting while I worked on it...
