    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

Yeah 440 has straight legs, 383/400 kick out. 758 should be for 440. If the other style with the box end matches up then we know those are for 440s too.

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

Kim, on the first one that you posted that was painted silver, check near the head (engine side) for a stamped number. See if it says 758.

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

It's pretty much impossible to say. They do (or should) have a part number on them but I haven't found a good resource with common ones. The 71-72 style is apparently very common on motorhomes through the late 70s.

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

Actually that may be a 440 rod on a 383 throttle bracket. The 440 bracket has straight legs.

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

Can you post a photo of the whole rod? Top rod in this one is supposedly for 440, bottom rod for 383/400. Yours looks like a match but it's hard to tell from that angle. PM sent

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

My 73 parts book shows the main rod as 14-11-9 but there isn't a part number listed for 440. Supposedly changed style after June of 73. Anyone have a 74 book?

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

On 71/72 the main rod is adjustable at the swivel on the throttle bracket via a bolt. It changed for 73. Thanks

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

Ok, so I've narrowed it down a bit. 73-76 linkage will work, this style has the adjustment on the trans side as opposed to the carb side like above (box with bolt and spring). The main rod has a box end at the C swivel. I really just need the main rod more than anything, I'm working on a part...

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

That’s what I’m aiming for. Once you get them dialed in they are an excellent carb.

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

It’s for reference only, and that’s a Demon carb. I think the only difference may be the length of the slot in the slide? I’ll eventually be using an edelbrock. I’ve used this same setup for a thermoquad before on an eddy with no issues, I think the only change would be with a Holley which I...

    WANTED 73-76 kickdown for 440

Hello, looking for a 73-76 style kickdown for a 440 w AVS/carter 4bbl. Would prefer something from a known donor, I've already bought three kickdowns that weren't correct. 383/400 doesn't fit. Thanks

    Steps to troubleshoot speedometer

Do you still have the old cable? Mopar used to sell a sort of waxy product designed specifically to lube speedo cables. It sounds like your original was dried out and binding up. The new cable, as it's longer than stock, may be binding up as well for other reasons. I don't know what the...

    WANTED 360 log manifolds PA/NY/NJ

Bob, thanks anyway. The ones on the left look like maybe 318 pieces - if you want to post the casting numbers I'll do some digging and tell you what they are. The ones on the right are late 318/360 manifolds.
