70nport, Thanks for the input..... Your comments seem consistent with others..... The A/C does come in handy on hot summer days but appears to offend the eyes.... You should have seen the day one unit that was installed by the original owner.... Maybe I should have restored it as a tribute...

Greg, I have spoken with several Hust experts and they agree with you. "This is the lowest optioned Hurst around". I know, not much of a sellling point. But, I'll have to go with it for now. Only an AM radio too. Thanks Bill

Thanks! The splash shields are on the car now..... Just not on the day of this car show (as I was in a rush to do other things like finish buffing and cleaning etc.).... hours before this photo the car was still being detailed.... could not get to everything that day.

I have searched the WEB and found a Mopar Muscle issue that indicated: "Sauterne Gold Iridescent" is a Hurst color taken from the 1970 Cadillac color chart (most likely something called Byzantine Gold Iridescent).

Does anyone know the correct paint code for the tan/gold exterior color on a 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst? I have heard it could actually be a GM color. At any rate I need to have some mixed and I would rather not rely on the spectrum-analyzer as the car appears to have been repainted.
