Turn up the metering rods in that carb and it'll cure your hesitation. Vacuum that operates the A/C isn't a big enough leak to impact engine running.

I've found that both of my remote door mirrors have very little range of motion. However, when aiding the mirrors movement a little by pushing on the corners a bit they have plenty range. The cables must be binding internally but I've yet to find a good wat to lubricate those.

Haven't seen many NY coupes with this style vinyl tops and now I know why. Something just looks off to me.

What was your issue with installing them? Edit: I just saw your post in the other thread where you've explained it. The ones I got for my Imp also had some misalignment but nothing as bad as yours.

Ooohh, it seems I've made a false assumption. When I pulled the factory original carpet out of my Imperial it had a thick jute layer but as I understand now, that's standard on all carpets and the mass backing option is just the 45 mil thick layer in between?

I don't think there are. My parents have one of those vans and stock rims have quite a bit of backspacing and are narrower. I'm assuming those just bolted right on there. And they really do look good on it. Those whitewalls work with it.

From this I gather you didn't get the extra mass backing nor additional sound dampening. Could either you or @71Polara383 eloborate on why not?
