Get your Hankook Optimo H724 WW tires while you can!

These ones go for about $150 a tire CAD for that price point, I'd be willing to live with them being a bit wide.

C-body Dakota Front Disc Brake Swap

Definitely not, 97+ Dakota use a unitized hub and bearing unit with a 6 lug pattern, by using even 91-96 spindles you can back date them to 4.5x5 pattern as they use tapered roller bearings with a 1 piece rotor and hub unit.

    Lower Control Arm bushing removal

Drop the washer/nut assembly into the control arm bushing shell, I'd recommend grinding any coating off the outer edge first... This is where you'll need a welder, you're going to want to weld the washer to the bushing shell...Be careful you don't get carried away and end up past the bushing...

    Backing plate question.

Yes, they are the same, 8. 25/8.75/9.25 and Dana 60 all use the same pattern to attach them, all backing plates have 5 holes punched, the 8.25 uses 4 of the 5, 8.75 and Dana use 5 of the holes and I can't remember without looking at the one beside my shop how many of the 5 holes the 9.25 uses. Are Poverty dishes all the same size?

In the Fuselage section, I periodically update it, mostly as I collect parts. Champagne taste on a ginger ale budget means trying to be resourceful and frugal. Nick
