Uncle Ray is going in for round 2

I have no You-Tube fame. However, would be cool to meet up with a fellow 1971 Fury man. If it's a warm day, I can drive my 1970 Fury convertible. I expect another year of repairs before my 1971 Fury is running. I'll PM you.

How about a derby build thread??

I'm also out. It's your business what you do with your car. I just don't want to be part of a c-body being set up for destruction. I am in this hobby for c-body preservation.

Voltage at coil primary? Intermittent ground at coil negative? Voltage at distributor? Wire continuity from ECU to all devices? If you have no spark at coil secondary, there are a lot of things to check

Shamu, my 69 Fury III vert

In my experience, the wire from the connector to the gauge is a ground wire and its resistance should not change relative to the amount of gasoline in the tank. The change of resistance comes between the post that the connector attaches to and the body of the sending unit. Do we know the...

Shamu, my 69 Fury III vert

I'm guessing that you're measuring resistance between the ground input stud at the sending unit and the actual sending unit housing. If resistance is 20 ohms when the gas tank is basically empty, resistance should have dropped to a lesser measurement, less ohms, when you filled up the tank. As...
