I realized today that I don’t like my wagon.

Congratulations! I've always changed my plugs from the top but a couple are a real bear. I don't remember about the damper but it's a good idea to open it up especially if it's stuck closed. Put a paint mark on it when it's cold then let it get hot and check it again. You could shoot it with a...

I realized today that I don’t like my wagon.

This is the one that I bought. Actually twice. the last one was in 2017. You may not need the square to spread adaptor. I can't remember if the one below was for my 73 Imperial or my 67 Imperial. I'm sure you can figure it out. Edelbrock 2696 Four-Hole Square-Bore to Spread-Bore Carburetor...

I realized today that I don’t like my wagon.

Put an Eddy on it and be done with it. I've had this problem on two of my cars. I effed around and effed around for months thinking and adjusting and scratching, finally gave in. Bolted on the Eddy...No more problems.

Looking for the bright blue light (air fuel mixture)

I'll be damned... that is bad ***. I've heard of this tool for a long time on the other sports car forums I'm on, but never saw it in action. I'm thinking I've got to get one! With all the old school cars I've got its about time. Thanks!:thumbsup:

Has anyone used an O2 sensor and Volt Meter to measure AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) to tune carb?

Having the color tune kit with the one clear plug might be an advantage. This way you could compare which bank is lean or rich. The tail pipe thing is intriguing but all 8 cyls. Are mixed up by the time you hit the tail pipe. For example on my Lotus Elite and my MG. The front carb services...

Has anyone used an O2 sensor and Volt Meter to measure AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) to tune carb?

Before the advent of all this electronic stuff, they used these kits for years in Europe for tuning Dellortos, Stromberg, Webers etc. Might be worth a look. Not stupid money either Colortune See inside the combustion chamber | Tech-Torque | Gunson...

    Engine ID

I believe 440's were winding down. Aside from the usual cast of characters, C-bodies and B-body Cop Cars, chances are it could've come from a motor home. Seen that a lot because you could buy the whole thing cheaper than an engine and usually very low mileage. Dodge still made motor home chassis...
