    Pitman Puller Fail

Unless your planning on doing a complete seal /bearing job on the box, I'd avoid heat as much as possible. Heat and steering boxes aren't a good combo, just sayin'. If the box is out, I'd take it to a machine shop and get it pressed off, to me out would be worth the $20.00

    Drum locking issue.

I'm pretty sure this probably isn't it but it may be worth bring up, with options dwindling. You didn't happen to mix up the primary and secondary shoes? I've done it and learned from it. One time the brake shoes I bought had three primary and one secondary shoes in the box! Lol

    brake bleeeding question

I've had good luck doing it that way. Takes a while but not too bad. Start with the right rear and work your way forward. If any pumping is required it would only be for a few minutes after that

    1964 Chrysler 300k torsion bars

Unless a torsion bar breaks, for some odd reason, they shouldn't ever need replacing. PST has a bunch not sure about your model though.

    Slow leak

I asked him about any type of recall he said none that he's heard of. Good honest guy, does ask my tires. Cooper screwed up but not much you can do about it..... Needless to say they're off my tire list!

    Slow leak

Also, what tires are you using.. Cooper had some issues that they never disclosed to the public about rim sealing problems... One of my tire shop customers told me about it after I complained about my tires losing air.

    Brake Pad Difference Testing

Sammie and I went to the F1 race in Montreal this summer... it was so cool to see the brakes go from black to red hot to black in what seemed like someone throwing a switch off-on-off! The engineering these days is simply mind boggling.

DOT5 or not to DOT5...that is the question?

Those other guys were making it sound like you had to flush the system with mineral spirits or something and changing hoses etc. Made it sound like a pain... All the same I'll stick with 3 in my Mopars, 4 in the others as the manufacturer recommends. Been working for years.

DOT5 or not to DOT5...that is the question?

Glad you're sticking with the DOT 3 or 4. Like they say... the more you over think the plumbing the easier it is to stop up the drain. To me it's not worth the battle to jump through all those hoops to use DOT 5. Just sayin'
