Unfortunately, they are listed in the periodic table as "Unubtainium". Plenty of threads on how to fix them here though. @1978 NYB has the best repair solution hopefully he'll chime in with a link.

I, we, "Snapon"...sell sockets specifically designed for "Weatherhead" fittings. That way you don't mangle them. Sold a few here and there. Of course to heavy duty equipment mechanics. I even sold an entire set to one guy. Worked on dozers, excavators etc. Real pro. Had to have the best of...

As I said... Go to a Heavy Duty Truck Shop or Parts supplier. They will have the real Weatherhead fittings. Or ask Stubbs for advice finding them.:rofl:

Those are called "Weatherhead" fittings, most heavy duty truck parts suppliers have all kinds of sizes of them. If that helps....

Check Fastenal for shipping they are usually pretty reasonable. I shipped a 4 cylinder engine from Dallas to PA for less than $200. Worth a call.

Just chiming in for what its worth... If you do find a 8 inch rim make sure the tire doesnt rub on the skirts in the rear, if the car your're putting them on has them. (I don't recall you mentioning what they are going on.) My 73 Imperial has 8 inchers on it now and they are very close to...
