For Sale (2) Air Cleaners / (1) Duel Snorkel

For some reason, I was thinking 1969, but its 1971 pre-charcoal cannister to store evap emissions.

For Sale (2) Air Cleaners / (1) Duel Snorkel

Crankcase vent tube-to-snorkle like that was in '69 only, when they put the vapors into the crankcase "for storage", as I recall.

SOLD 1972 Mopar 360 and 400ci Holley 2 bbl carburetor

Might the tooth numbers be stamped on the outer edge of the ring gear, too?

SOLD 1972 Mopar 360 and 400ci Holley 2 bbl carburetor

Other than that bar and new carb stud attached to it, a thicker and slightly softer air horn gasket was in the mix, as was longer screws. The additional compressibility of the gasket would allow it to be compressed more on the outer edges while also being thick enough to cover the slight...

SOLD 1972 Mopar 360 and 400ci Holley 2 bbl carburetor

That bar across the top, side to side, is a part of the Chrysler "Bridge Kit" to combat air horn warpage from too much torque on the air cleaner wing nut. A Chrysler TSB on that situation. CBODY67

    SOLD Dual snorkel air cleaner

Model year defined by the external emissions valve on the side of the air cleaner, I suspect. CBODY67

    SOLD Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner

"440 T-N-T" started in '66 on Chryslers. Twin snorkle air cleaner and Twin exhaust pipes (dual exhaust). Normal 440/350 specs, otherwise. There was a "440 Dual" option on either '67 or '68 Imperials (maybe both years?), which added dual exhaust to the normal 440 plus a dual snorkle air...

    SOLD Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner

That was back when ANY top would usually fit ANY base and use the same air filter element. CBODY67

For Sale B/E body aluminum overdrive trans 833

Had to come after E-bodies if it's a 3+OD 4-speed. Probably more like Aspen-Volare time frame? Isn't there a VIN stamp on the case? Respectfully, CBODY67

For Sale dual snorkle on ebay. not mine

Fix it up and flip it at a Mopar swap meet (as a RARE '67 and back factory dual snorkle air cleaner) for well past $300.00. I used to see used '70 383/440 dual snorkles at Mopar Nats for more than he's asking and then THEY needed new crinkle paint and some attention. Add a '68 Road Runner base...

1973-1974, as I recall. Look good.

For Sale Original Mopar 14” Spare Tire Assembly

Would make a nice "show piece" in a nicely restored car. NOT for road use at all.

SOLD 1968-9 dual snorkel air cleaner

My '67 Newport is a 383 4bbl car, with the Carter AFB from the factory. Yet a 440/350 New Yorker came factory-equipped with a Holley 4160 that year, which would have had the "big hole" or "Holley" base. Which would modify my prior post on the model year, as I was thinking of my car with a 383...

SOLD 1968-9 dual snorkel air cleaner

I was under the impression that the "small hole" stopped in '67, with the matching AFB carb. With the "large hole" starting in '68? Of course, the bases interchange with the same air cleaner top. Just some thoughts, CBODY67

    For Sale 440 Steel Crank

The press-fit piston pins should be tight, but the rod ends on the pins should not. Possibly varnish or similar?

    For Sale 440 Steel Crank

Neat item! Only thing is that if the pistons it will be used with vary from the weight of the '68 440/350 pistons it is factory-balanced for, some "touch-up" on the balance might be needed. Looks like the engine was well-maintained! CBODY67

For Sale How rare is cross ram? Not mine.

I just know that some of the things the engineers might do seem "unusual" to us, but they have their own little ways of ensuring their designs get assembled as THEY desired, not what we might "think" they need to be. Sometimes better, sometimes not.

For Sale How rare is cross ram? Not mine.

As only ONE casting number, one part number for the pair, AND there should be no need for "warranty replacement" of pieces thereof, the two sides would be cataloged as "assembly" rather than individuals. The balance tube hose having different diameter ends could well be to ensure that they...
