SOLD Not Mine 1950 Hudson Commodore - $11,000 - Tucson, Ariz.

Nice auto, it even has what looks to be the stock air cleaners still on the car. Wonder if the blue and silver two tone was factory as two tone Hudsons were not that common, especially in this combination. Dave

SOLD Not Mine 1948 Dodge D24 Town Sedan - $30,000 - Henderson, Nev.

I would like to see how it gets in and out of a driveway being lowered as much as it is. Dave

SOLD Not Mine 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sedan “Movie Car” - $5,500 - West Covina, Calif.

"Cruiser" was green to start with and it looks like they painted right over the body damage on the sides. Missing belt line trim. Dave

SOLD Not Mine 1938 Chrysler Royal 4dr Convertible - $50,000 - Sylmar, Calif.

Interesting vehicle. Appears to have an Offenhauser aluminum head and dual carb intake. These were a popular hot item on a lot of cars in the early '50's. There were not a lot of these 4dr cabriolets produced, but given the non original state of this car, I think it is grossly overpriced as a...

For Sale '65 Coronet, auction $8600 so far (GA)

There is a big dent in the air cleaner, maybe the mounts broke and popped the hood. Hood and hinges would not usually be enough to total a clean car like this. It may have other issues. Some states also mark recovered thefts as salvage. Dave

For Sale 1964 Chrysler 300K 4 Speed Ragtop

If this is a pristine rust free car that got hit, it might be worth the asking. Otherwise it is a parts car and worth a lot less. Bent frame and trashed front clip makes this an ambitious and expensive repair. Too bad because 300k verts with a 4 speed are rare. Dave

For Sale 1980 (?) Super Six Cordoba in Brantford ON

Even with the Ram Air, this is at best a $2k car. Dave

For Sale Not mine-79 Newport cop car

Unusual that it has carpet instead of black rubber floor mats. The puddle of foam is probably soap from the hose job. Dave

For Sale Another Magnum on FB. Cheap and decent. Not mine

Probably not what I would start my kid at, but then Lee Petty put his kid, Richard in his hand me down '57 Olds racer on a long track, so maybe it was kind of a family tradition. The Olds is at the Petty museum. Interesting car, it had a removable hard top so it could run in the vert races of...

For Sale Another Magnum on FB. Cheap and decent. Not mine

They were racers and the kid had to learn on something. Richard made no bones about his dislike of the car. I suspect his son was just glad to have a ride. Dave

For Sale Another Magnum on FB. Cheap and decent. Not mine

What you say is also true, Petty gave the 5 magnum cars they built to his son and all 5 wound up totaled on the track. Dave

For Sale Another Magnum on FB. Cheap and decent. Not mine

I think the point is that to date these cars are not putting up very high dollar numbers which is usually a good indicator of collector interest for either the GT or the XE. They might well do so in the future, but like a lot of things "collectable" it is a crap shoot. Malaise era smog motors...
