You are not wrong. I had my 79 300 seats all recovered in Katzkin Leather and it was north of $3K but man did they do a nice job of matching colour and grain.

I'm working on a 79 300 with the factory roof option right now supposedly 1 of 5 in Canuckistan... I could really use Javier's assistance with the adjustments lol That said what kind of switch panel for the roof does your 77 have? I need one with the map lights incorporated into it.

Lots to like about this one but the price is definitely top end money for a cloth interior car. You could be driving a very nice 79 300 or other more desirable Mopar for the same money.

Thanks Stan and yes that’s my kinda iron. My first car was a Doba S stripper 360 and tilt wheel only options. Still have it but not much left unfortunately. These cars didn’t do well against the rust monster....

Police pkg cars are nothing special anyone could order one back then. Decontented cars with very little that wasn’t available in a regular production vehicle unless you have a thing for vinyl rear seats and no centre consoles. I will happily order a whole fleet if anyone wants to make a fortune...

Slant 6 with a four speed would be a nice combo on its own. Great reliability and fuel mileage....but better to go f^% it up by dropping a LS in it....
