When I installed a power seat in one of my cars I installed an automotive circuit breaker behind the left kick panel and ran the power wire to power terminal on the starter if I am remembering correctly.

Yes. I actually had an NOS dash unit many years ago that I sold to someone who needed it. I've been into '68 Fury's for 30 years and have only seen a handful of cars with this option.

FYI, headrests came out in 1968 as an option. I'd rather by in an accident in one of my C Body's than in a Smart Car or some other tiny car. Headrests keep you from breaking your neck as your head whips backwards in a rear-end collision.
