Your thoughts on paint color change 1966 Imperial convertible

I would stay with the gold. Black shows any imperfections more than any other color.

Nice 65 Imperial coupe near Lima OH for sale (not mine) $6500

The listing says that the car is from Texas so there may not be any rust issues.

Nice 65 Imperial coupe near Lima OH for sale (not mine) $6500

I think that this car could bring $10k. I think it is a steal at $6500 but this is if the paint on the top surfaces just needs a good polishing.

Moving an Imperial on a Uhaul trailer

We have all heard the horror stories. However, MANY of us on this forum can recommend transport companies that we have used that take care of our cars as if they were their own. There are a lot of good car transport folks out their. Search the forum, there are a few threads on this. My 2...

    Excuse my ignorance but ?

Some may disagree but I add some lead additive to the fuel a few times a year in addition to using higher octane fuel. As for oil, you need to either use a ZDDP additive or buy an oil like Penn Grade that has it in it and it is also a semi-synthetic, which was recommended to me by an engine...

Did they have numbers matching eng/tranny 66 Imperial?

    school me on 67 Imperials?

Windshields are the same as a C Body Conv., 2 door Hardtop or 4 door Hardtop. It will cost you $15k to $20k at a minimum to restore that car, possible more, unless you can do most of the work yourself. If it is restored very nicely and correct, it might be a $25k car when done. It's not the...

    school me on 67 Imperials?

Parts for the disc brakes are very hard to find and expensive. Also, the wheel bolt pattern is larger than on a C Body. That one is kind of rough and looks like it was outside during many dust storms.

68 Imperial Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner refurbish project

I believe that the correct paint for a '68 dual snorkel air cleaner is semi-gloss.

    1990 to 1993 Imperial

I had a 1990 Imperial in Champagne. My wife and I loved that car and my son drove it for a year or so. Road great, very comfortable, poor handling that was not helped by small tires, very reliable with the 3.3L V6 but ours had the Bosch anti-lock brake system and we went through several...

    1972 Imperial Transport

Love Panteras. Assume it has 351 Cleveland power. That is definitely a difficult car to put in an enclosed trailer.
