well, its been about a month since I last posted but been busy on the car show circuit and everybody loves the Imperial. runs good and get nice mpg, going to take it on a 300 mile trip this weekend. I'm afraid that will be my last with her. I went over to the dark side, don't know what possessed...

I know this looks stupid, I had an old RAC brand tach from the 60's and I attached it to a coffee cup holder I had . I centered it and sandwiched a piece of metal so I had some strength. Tomorrow I'll wires it up and see my results.

Gotta know the RPMs when 2nd shift snaps my neck back HaHaHa

Thanks Matt, If I was to customize this car, I'd go with the black paint, silver interior and perhaps burgundy inserts in the seats, And to top it off, some nice wire wheels

The spacer did raise the height of the carb so for now, I'll run this air cleaner and at car shows I'll put the original on. I'll have to wait for better weather here to find out if I was successful
