I've found a surprising array of those pressed metal nuts at Ace Hardware, as well as some molding clips which actually did for Mathilda today.

FWIW I recently weatherstripped both of my door windows along the top with 3/4" wide roll off tape weatherstripping from Ace Hardware, and it does very nicely. I concur if one can find OEM weatherstripping for a reasonable price, it should be better for longevity, but I must say this foam stuff...
