OK I'll try and explain this as best I can I have a 61 Polara 2Dr with seized engine and unknown tranny condition 361 pushbutton auto. I also have 62 300 4Dr hardtop with 383 pushbutton auto which I drive and is fine. I've spotted a rough but low mileage running and driving 62 Newport 4Dr...

I don't know what was on the mind of the design team when I look at these cars! Almost like the head designer was off with the flu and janitor took over due to time constraints!! Harsh maybe but when you look at some of the stunning shapes they achieved this one leaves me speechless

.....I've got one in my garage!! Same colour, interior etc.... The family who sold me mine.... eventually..... Took some persuading and I almost bought this one while I waited for my chance..... I watched it on eBay and then it just vanished off the listing before the final bell

This black Polara was on eBay back in 2013 and it looked then to have a great body, the engine was apart but no rot on the body or dings from the pi s I saved, I was watching it and it got to 7k then disappeared..... If it's still got a split engine he's in cloud cuckoo land with his pricing...

If there's a chance he might sell some parts I could use some for my restored on my 61 Polara! ???

I've a black 61 Polara too, I can't tell you how great it is to see another one, there was a really nice one in texas on eBay back around 201, it was up to $7000 and it's auction was pulled!.....Maybe it went North? It was straight as a dye!

Headliner suggests its been in a damp climate/variable temp climate whereas the rest of the interior looks untouched!?? ....are those poly valve covers i see!??

Well its been a long wait since I found this sweet 61 back in 2010 but I finally got to pick it up from the docks just the other day ....this is the sight that greats me when I walk in my garage at home! .......I shall be spending countless hours down there from now on! .....living the dream!!
