Are you sure the gauge and the temp sensor is showing correct. With a IR temp sensor you can check the temp in different places on the system. I had a simular problem in my boat with overheating, I bought an IR temp sensor and and measured on hoses and found out that the sensor was the problem.

Well it's not much to show. I got my idea from this side: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=9.4102 It's just a round puck with a hole in it that I made in the lathe.

That isolator is homemade in "Delrin". The old one was out of rescue so i googled and got som ideas from another forum.

My problem with rust in the area were the body connects with the subframe is finaly solved, took some time and thinking but am happy with the result. This problem is due the fact thas all the dirt is trapped in that spot but all other rust in the floor pans seems to come from the inside. I guess...
